·Perform daily payroll operations
·Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
·Review and ensure accuracy of approved timecards; reconcile payroll prior to transmission
and validate confirmed reports
·Track and deduct all garnishments and other special payroll deductions
·Handle the administration of Kronos. Set up each employee; monitor submissions of
approved timecards; ensure valid data transfers to/from payroll service. Execute Kronos
time and attendance processing and interface with payroll
·Establish/maintain employee records; ensure that employee changes are entered correctly
and made on a timely basis; review changes for proper authorization and adherence to
company policy and compliance with federal/state regulations
·Provide reports to Managers/Supervisors as requested to maximize efficient operation of
·Develop financial and operational reporting as needed
·Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary (W-2, ACA, etc.)
·Process manual checks
·Manage pay card process
·Process unemployment and temporary disability claims from the Department of Labor
·Manage employment verifications (internal and external)
·Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as leaves, compensation
etc. and resolve issues and problems.
·Assist employees to navigate payroll system, including tax withholding changes, resetting
password, downloading paystubs, submitting PTO requests, etc.
·Impart information regarding benefit plans and worker's compensation
·Help process leave requests from employees, facilitate affirmative action laws, and post state
and federal labor regulations.
·Process payment of benefit invoices
